After months of experimenting in his kitchen in 2005, long-time horseman Uncle Jimmy was sure he had struck upon a treat to relieve the boredom of his own stall-bound horse; he was just as confident his treat would transform the equine industry. To assist with product development, Uncle Jimmy partnered with New Castle Candy Company and the team set to work on naming and mass producing the boredom busters.

Hello folks, Uncle Jimmy here. I’ve had two passions in my life—airplanes and horses. I started riding at a local stable at an early age and began flying at the age of fifteen. My dream was to fly for a major airline and own a farm with horses. Well I’m here to tell ya, someone must have been looking down on me because I managed to do both.
